Kate Garraway has hinted that she “should have got the This Morning job over Cat Deeley.”
Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley officially took over as the new hosts of This Morning on March 11th after Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby left the show.
However, Kate who is a presenter at Good Morning Britain has sent fans into a frenzy by discretely revealing that she may have been a better fit for the show than Cat.

Kate’s comment sections have been flooded with messages wishing that she was chosen over Cat and the 56-year-old liked many of them.
Some of the comments the presenter liked are: “Kate and Ben are the best team and should have presented This Morning together.”
“Not happy, It should be Ben and Kate. I’ll miss you Ben but will still be watching you Kate.”

Speaking during the opening of the show, Cat said: “We are so excited to be here this show has been a part of our lives for so long.”

Ben, who previously left Good Morning Britain after 10 years, added: “Everyone has been so kind. thank you to everyone who has sent us messages of support.”
Fans of the show took to X on Monday morning to share their thoughts on the new permanent hosts.
One wrote: “I really like Cat and Ben and I’m sure they’ll be great as the new permanent presenters. Just relieved to finally have an end to all the chopping and changing, fingers crossed there’s some stability at last. Now just get them on the opening titles #ThisMorning.”
