Love Island’s Jake Cornish reveals he’s finally found love following major career move

Love Island’s Jake Cornish has revealed he’s finally found love, following a major career move.
The reality star appeared on the first All Stars series earlier this year, which was his second time trying to find love through the popular dating show.
The 27-year-old only lasted three days in the villa, before he announced his shock decision to leave.

While he was unsuccessful on the show, Jake has since confessed to The Sun: “Yeah, I am dating – no comment. But I’ve got someone special.”
The 27-year-old first appeared on Love Island in 2021, where he coupled up with Liberty Poole from the start.
However, their relationship came to a dramatic end when Liberty decided to leave the show after questioning his true feelings for her.

Since his appearance on the All Stars series, Jake has had a major career shift.
The reality star has landed his first movie role in Bermondsey Tales: Fall of the Roman Empire – in which he will star alongside some huge names including Maisie Smith and Charlie Clapham.
He told the publication: “I’ve always wanted to be an actor, or get an acting role.”
“I’ve grown up watching British gangster films and it’s my kind of era. I’ve had a lot of people say to me ‘you’ve done Love Island, you’re basically a wannabe’.”

“When someone gives you an opportunity like acting, I’m gracious, I’m gonna take it. It’s my second film in the last year so I’m gonna take it and enjoy it. I like to play a character that suits me, not just to take it.”
“My favourite film is The Business with Danny Dyer, so if I could do a film like that… Danny Dyer is my favourite actor of all time,” he said admitting the Eastenders star is his inspiration.
Speaking on his return to the villa, he confessed: “I don’t regret doing All Stars, it was very different from the first time, it wasn’t going to be the same.”
“I couldn’t take anything in there, enough was enough and I just had to go. I went there for love and it didn’t happen. I did it three years before and some of the conversations this time just felt a bit forced.”
