Love Island’s Sammy Root has broken his silence on his ex Jess Harding’s new man.
The blonde beauty went Instagram official with her boyfriend at the start of this month, when she posted a snap of them kissing.
The new boyfriend in question is yet to be named or tagged in any of the reality star’s pictures, but according to The Sun, her new man’s name is Sam Quinn.

During a new interview with The Sun, Sammy confessed he and Jess “don’t ever talk” because she has a boyfriend.
He said: Don’t get me wrong, if I saw her I’d probably say hello but out of respect I’m not going to be talking to her when she’s got a boyfriend.”
“I haven’t got a reason to. We don’t ever talk but I wish her the best.”
Jess and Sammy announced their split just three months after winning last year’s series of Love Island.

Jess reportedly ended their relationship over the phone while on a girls trip to Ibiza, after realising they were better off as friends.
Sammy also opened up about his current dating life to The Sun, and said: “I wouldn’t have gone this far without dating a couple…”
“But at the same time, I feel like this year I’m very fortunate to be given this chance in this situation this year so rather than spend it chasing girls I’d rather make the most out of it and make the biggest impact I can.”
“I’m trying to focus on myself and do my own thing, but there is obviously a girl here and there that I speak to.”
